Britain is home to more than 50 species of mammal, yet it is a only small proportion of these which present a pest control need.

Pest controllers are well trained in understanding and identifying the “pest” species.
However it's equally important to ensure that the work we undertake is conducted in a manner which presents the lowest possible risk to non-target species.
During this course we will look at the mammals we may encounter during our work which we ARE NOT tasked with controlling.
By understanding theses non-target species which are commonly found around us, we can help to demonstrate to our clients that we are acting professionally, carrying out effective and responsible controls which help to protect our reputation.
The course will cover (but is not limited to); non-pest rodents, insectivores (Eulipotyphla), hares, mustelids and bats.
