Assignments are a great way of earning CPD. You’ll receive a Certificate of Achievement for each assignment submitted. If you achieve a top grade, you’ll also receive a BPCA Certificate of Excellence certificate.

Read the instructions for the assignment and click on the links to access to the reading materials that we have recommended for you. Our list of recommended reading materials is not exhaustive. If you prefer, you can use any other research materials that you think would help you complete the assignment.

Minimum wordcount for the assignment is 100 words. Maximum word count is 500 words.

To submit

Once you’ve finished your assignment you will be able to submit it directly to us by clicking on the “Submit” button.

Once we have reviewed your assignment you will be notified of your grade and any other feedback that we feel would be useful to you.

Adding your points

If you’re on BPCA Registered, you will receive 1 CPD point for your CPD assignment. Your point will be added automatically to your BPCA Registered account.

Unfortunately, this activity is not supported by Basis Prompt.

Certification

Upon completion, you will be able to access, download and print off a BPCA Certificate of Achievement for submitting your assignment.

Our Technical team will review all assignments and, working to a marking guide, will feedback to us the grade that has been allocated to your assignment. They will use a simple marking guide as follows:

Grade 1         Standard
Grade 2         Good
Grade 3         Excellent       

Those assignments which have received a Grade 3 will also receive a BPCA Registered Certificate of Excellence.

If you don’t hear from us within 14 days of your submission has not been put forward for the certificate on this occasion but please try again!
