Job Summary

Kiwa Agri Food is seeking a Technical Inspector to join our expanding Pest Consultancy team. This remote, field-based role involves carrying out inspections and audits across a wide range of manufacturing, warehousing, and retail facilities in the UK and internationally.

About the role

  • Conduct inspections and audits in line with the scope of industry-recognised qualifications
  • Produce detailed and accurate photographic inspection reports
  • Deliver reports to customers on time and in accordance with KIPC company policy
  • Manage and schedule inspection work based on allocated assignments
  • Support business development by promoting the company’s products and services.

 Expected technical knowledge and competencies:

  • Storage and transport of pesticides
  • Biology, behavior and control of rats and mice
  • Control of other vertebrate pests including birds, rabbits, foxes, squirrels, moles, and feral cats
  • Public health insect pest biology and control including cockroaches, ants, wasps, flies, biting insects, stored product insects
  • Pesticide application equipment
  • Personal protective equipment
  • Pesticide formulations and active ingredients
  • Risk Assessments
  • Resilient, dynamic, and results-driven with strong problem-solving and teamwork skills
  • Exceptional communication skills and interpersonal relations at all levels
  • Knowledge and understanding of various retailer standards
  • Willingness to travel both in the UK and overseas.

Qualifications (required):

  • Practical pest control experience in a wide range of facilities
  • RSPH Level 2 Award or Certificate in Pest Management
  • BPCA Advanced Technician in Pest Management (or equivalent).

Opportunities for promotion to Technical Consultant with further qualifications.

  • Up to £34,000 plus £5,040 (car allowance), dependent on qualifications/experience
