Kiwa Agri Food is seeking a Technical Inspector to join our expanding Pest Consultancy team. This remote, field-based role involves carrying out inspections and audits across a wide range of manufacturing, warehousing, and retail facilities in the UK and internationally.

About the role
- Conduct inspections and audits in line with the scope of industry-recognised qualifications
- Produce detailed and accurate photographic inspection reports
- Deliver reports to customers on time and in accordance with KIPC company policy
- Manage and schedule inspection work based on allocated assignments
- Support business development by promoting the company’s products and services.
Expected technical knowledge and competencies:
- Storage and transport of pesticides
- Biology, behavior and control of rats and mice
- Control of other vertebrate pests including birds, rabbits, foxes, squirrels, moles, and feral cats
- Public health insect pest biology and control including cockroaches, ants, wasps, flies, biting insects, stored product insects
- Pesticide application equipment
- Personal protective equipment
- Pesticide formulations and active ingredients
- Risk Assessments
- Resilient, dynamic, and results-driven with strong problem-solving and teamwork skills
- Exceptional communication skills and interpersonal relations at all levels
- Knowledge and understanding of various retailer standards
- Willingness to travel both in the UK and overseas.
Qualifications (required):
- Practical pest control experience in a wide range of facilities
- RSPH Level 2 Award or Certificate in Pest Management
- BPCA Advanced Technician in Pest Management (or equivalent).
Opportunities for promotion to Technical Consultant with further qualifications.

- Up to £34,000 plus £5,040 (car allowance), dependent on qualifications/experience
