Description

This role is a for a qualified and experienced pest controller with a minimum of 2 years’ experience, plus a minimum RSPH Level 2 qualification - preference will be given to Level 3 or CAT qualified technicians.

This is a field-based role which will suit a positive and enthusiastic individual who likes to manage their own time, is good at solving bespoke customer problems face-to-face and likes to help people.

The successful candidate will primarily be responsible for conducting pest control treatments on commercial and residential properties across Northern Ireland, as well as carrying out bird proofing activities and other related Pest activities.

Your daily duties will include:

• Inspecting customer premises for signs of pests and potential risks.
• Routine Servicing and intensive treatment activities.
• Advising customers on the maintenance and hygiene of their premises.
• Cleaning and removing evidence of pest behaviour.
• Completing accurate reports after every visit.
• Always maintaining high-level customer service and projecting a professional image.
• Undertake minor proofing works to prevent pest ingress.
• Bird Proofing
• EFK servicing & fly monitoring activities
• Pest identification and creation of appropriate treatment plans

Requirements

• Minimum RSPH/BPCA Level 2 qualification with 2 years experience
• Full UK driving licence, held for more than two years.
• Educated to GCSE (equivalent) in Maths and English.
• Excellent customer service and communication skills.
• Flexibility with working patterns to support the business needs.
• Geographical knowledge of Northern Ireland.
• Ability to work independently and manage own workload.
• Positive and pragmatic attitude to pest control.
