About the role:

We are looking to recruit a suitably qualified Field Biologist / Technical Inspector to join our team and support our growing audit portfolio.

The role of the Field Biologist / Technical Inspector is to support the customer by providing advanced technical pest control service, reports and reviews of the client’s working environment and working practices, making any recommendations as necessary, providing the technician with advanced experience and knowledge. This ensures that the possibilities of infestations are kept to a minimum and any that may occur can be spotted early and then dealt with swiftly and efficiently before impacting the business concerned.

The inspection to cover the following:

- Carry out in depth inspections of the entire site to include less accessible areas such as voids and cable runs, areas where pests are most likely to be active.
- Check quality of work being done by the technician.
- Review the currency of all the pest control documentation.
- If required, suggest alternative approaches to resolving problems.
- Provide typed reports with photographs to highlight high risk areas, proofing, hygiene requirements and to confirm site findings.
- With knowledge and experience of the site, be in a position to carry out an overall assessment of pest control contractors and site personnel to offer alternative approaches and strategies to eradicate problems and ensure the end product is produced in pest free conditions.
- Provide expert knowledge in pest control and audit procedures.

Minimum Requirements:

- RSPH level 2 in pest management.
- BPCA Certified Accredited Technician / Technical Inspector.
- BPCA Certified Field Biologist or equivalent experience within a field biologist role (preferred).
