We are looking to recruit a suitably qualified Field Biologist / Technical Inspector or a Service Technicians that is seeking personal development to become a Field Biologist / Technical Inspector. The role of the Field Biologist / Technical Inspector will support the customer by providing advanced technical pest control service, reports and reviews of the client’s working environment and working practices and make the appropriate recommendations.

This level of service ensures that the possibilities of infestations are kept to a minimum and any that may occur can be efficiently dealt with before impacting the company brand.

Main Responsibilities:

Complete in-depth inspections of the entire premises to include less accessible areas such as voids and cable runs, areas where pests are most likely to be active.

• Complete a QA check of work being done by the Servicing Technician including the pest control documentation.
• If necessary, suggest alternative approaches to resolving problems.
• Provide company branded electronic reports that are to include photographs to highlight all areas inspected, proofing, hygiene and housekeeping deficiencies and to complete close out meetings with the site.
• With your knowledge and experience of the site you shall be in a position to carry out an overall assessment of pest management service provided and site personnel to offer alternative approaches and strategies to eradicate problems with a pest free status being the end goal.
• Have and provided expert knowledge in pest and audit procedures.
• Identify sales opportunities including recommendations for additional or new services.
• Provide technical support and expertise to CSS Technicians, to include troubleshooting, pest identification and taking part in and advising during site surveys.
• Deliver training to staff and customers, including practical training, coaching and formal presentations.
• Implementing new services and changes to customer requirements.
• To increase your knowledge and understanding of all commercial, technical and personal aspects.

 Minimum Requirements:

• BPCA Level 2 with 2 years of experience as a minimum.
• BPCA Certified Accredited Technician / Technical Inspector.
• BPCA Certified Field Biologist or equivalent experience within a field biologist role (preferred).

Dependant on the minimum requirements above being achieved this would increase by £2.25k per level, per year accordingly.
