For more than 35 years Command Pest Control Ltd has been providing commercial & domestic pest control services to the eastern counties and beyond, including Suffolk and Norfolk.

We are currently looking for a Field Biologist / Surveyor. Applicants should have a degree in Biology, a Biological Science, Zoology, Food Technology, or they may already be a BPCA certificated biologist.

The position would suit a person looking for a career path in our industry, or some experience in the food industry and have an aptitude to learning with an attention to detail, with good reporting skills.

The role will involve the inspection of food manufacturing premises, warehouses, and food industry suppliers for pest activity throughout the East of England. Reports would be produced on findings with recommendations and advice will be given to clients.

The person would ensure that site documentation is kept up to date and they would carry out quality assurance assessments on the service we provide for clients. In addition to this, you will need to be able to confidently survey customer premises for quotation purposes – taking accurate and detailed information on the customers’ requirements, liaising with the service department.

We require an out-going person with confidence and good communication skills with a pleasant personality. It is essential the candidate is computer literate as record keeping is part of the job description.

You should enjoy driving and travel. A company vehicle will be provided with uniform and PPE, lap top and mobile phone for company use.

The normal hours are 40 hours per week. We provide 20 days holiday per annum with the 8 days statutory holidays. Salary is negotiable on qualifications and experience. Please apply with a full CV in word format outlining job history, experience etc
