Service Manager – Capital Pest Control Services
Capital Pest Control Services is a highly established company based in Essex and covering surrounding areas of the M25 and London. An opportunity has arisen for an experienced Service Manager, who is committed, motivated and has a genuine passion to manage a fantastic team of skilled Service Technicians. The Service Manager will be responsible for retaining clients, ensuring Technicians continually provide an exceptional service as well as meeting hectic installation deadlines.

In accordance with company procedures and best practice you will need to understand and respond to our clients in a timely, polite and professional manner. Providing them with an efficient service appropriate to their needs.
Organisation and time management is key to this role, ensuring service schedules are met.
The Service Manager will support and motivate the Service Supervisor and technicians by ensuring that the quality of service is continually achieved.
As the Service Manager is a highly skilled natural leader, possessing a motivating management style that fosters collaboration and innovation amongst all staff, giving commitment to finding smart solutions to problems for both colleagues and clients and is comfortable devising and delivering training sessions. They should also be competent in Microsoft Office (excel, word and power point) and be a confident email communicator.
The Service Manager will also manage the back-office Help Desk Team that monitor and maintain the day to day call out requirements of our client base and work closely with the Installations Manager to ensure deadlines are met for business growth.
This is a permanent full-time position, requiring a minimum 35-hour week, Monday to Friday – hours 8am to 5pm, based at our Head Office in Basildon, Essex.
A full driving license is mandatory;
As a minimum you must hold BPCA/RSPH level 2 certificate in pest management and undergo a basic DBS check (formally CRB);
2 years’ experience managing a team of 5 or more preferred;

- Ability to adapt to a constantly changing environment;
- Excellent understanding of standard computer systems, such as word, Excel and PowerPoint;
- Excellent technical knowledge of the procedures of administering pest control services;
- Confidence with providing training to others;
- A positive and friendly attitude towards colleagues and clients;
