Atalian Servest’s Pest team is seeking a Pest Control Technician covering the Newport, Cardiff, Bristol, Bath, Gloucester and Cheltenham area; to carry out preventative pest control visits to both domestic and commercial clients, as well as responding to reactive call-outs on customers’ premises.

DUTIES WILL INCLUDE
- Carry out preventative pest control visits to a wide spectrum of both domestic and commercial clients
- Responding to reactive call outs to customers’ premises
- Completion of associated paperwork with visits
- Managing and planning your own diary so that visits are completed within agreed time scales, - meeting service level agreements
THE SUCCESSFUL CANDIDATE
- You must hold BPCA accreditation to a minimum of level 2 and have a full UK driving licence.
- You will have covered this role within a food manufacturing environment- not essential but beneficial
- You will be an excellent communicator, skilled at prioritising your workload and working autonomously.
- Have the ability to Demonstrate outstanding customer service skills
- A high degree of flexibility in working hours and types of jobs undertaken
- Willingness to participate in a 24/7 on call rota and to work overtime when and where required
- A methodical and systematic approach to your work;
- Have Excellent attention to detail and technically competent
- You will have a robust and confident personality; as well as being highly motivated and quick to react
Working hours are Monday to Friday, 08:30am – 17:00pm, however flexibility to meet the needs of the business is essential. There is a requirement for all Pest Control Technicians to be willing to be included onto an Out of Hours call out rota for which you will be compensated by retainer – typically one week in four but on occasion, this may be more frequent.
The role includes a competitive salary with additional company benefits including; a fully expensed company vehicle, PPE equipment, company uniform & mobile phone. We also offer commission on sales generated from leads you may supply to our Sales Team. In addition, you will receive off-site support from your designated Service Controller/Coordinator.
Furthermore, upon successful completion of your probationary period, we could look to offer study support to develop your skill-set.
