As one of our B2B Field Sales Surveyors, you’ll enjoy a very interesting, varied and challenging role that will see you working to expand our presence in all aspects of pest control, with all kinds of commercial customers, across your territory.
Your business development programme will include research, planning, cold calls and sales appointments aimed at bringing our regular preventive service contracts to new customers. You’ll also develop relationships with existing clients, both to identify business-building opportunities and to enhance customer satisfaction and our own reputation.
Other responsibilities of the Field Sales Surveyors will include:
- Attending regular meetings
- Regular networking with other Mitie businesses
- Sales reporting
- Administration and record-keeping
A successful B2B sales professional, you’ll have a significant track record in either field- or office-based sales, ideally in pest control. Whatever your background, though, you’ll have a proven ability to put across a value-based risk-management sales proposition for services rather than products. Strong communication abilities – especially the ability to present complex solutions to varied, non-expert audiences – are essential, and you’ll need excellent pipeline planning and organisational skills.
As a Field Sales Surveyor, you should also have:
- Strong and concise written communication skills
- Good IT competence including email and CRM systems
- A full, valid UK driving licence.
