Programme for PestWorld 2024 announced

The programme, details of exhibitors and registration information for PestWorld 2024 to be held between 22-25 October 2024 at the Gaylord Rockies Resort & Convention Center, Denver, Colorado, USA are now available on the PestWorld 2024 website at www.pestworld2024.org

Held each year, and organised by the National Pest Management Association (NPMA) in the USA, PestWorld is the largest and most international gathering in the professional pest controller’s calendar.

It provides an ideal opportunity for individuals from every facet of the global pest management industry to share their knowledge, hear different perspectives on business trends, learn the latest technical research and form lasting bonds within the industry.

Each year, PestWorld attracts over 3,000 delegates from around 50 different countries. The exhibition is a highlight of the event with nearly 200 exhibitors spread over the exhibition hall. These exhibitors have on display their latest products, services and technologies for delegates to examine, discuss or just browse.

Opening session featured speakers

With the event held in Denver, it is highly appropriate the opening ceremony on Tuesday 22 October will feature Chris Collins and the John Denver tribute band who will perform some of John Denver’s most famous hits.

Each of the general sessions on the two following days, Wednesday and Thursday, will be opened by a keynote speaker. On Wednesday this will be Kelly McDonald, the multicultural marketing and business trends expert and founder of McDonald Marketing.

Kelly will explore strategies for navigating friction and differences in working styles, communication and cultural backgrounds when collaborating with diverse colleagues.

Then on Thursday, Justin Forsett, the American former football running back in the National Football League (NFL), will feature at the industry awards and general session. Known for his speed and agility on the field, Justin is now a respected leader and businessman off the field. As an award-winning motivational speaker, he shares his stories of sacrifice, setbacks and success.

Concurrent technical and educational sessions

After each general session, delegates can choose from a multitude of concurrent technical and educational presentations covering virtually every technical topic and pest likely to be encountered by a professional pest controller.

In addition, there are management orientated sessions, including a CEO forum featuring Dr Gustavo Grodnitzky. Geared to owners and upper-level managers, Dr Gustavo will work on a company’s business with his experimental presentation and workshop on how to improve company culture.

For international delegates
There is plenty specifically designed for international delegates. This includes, for those attending for the first time, a specific welcome and orientation session on Tuesday, the first day, before events start to swing into action. The international reception on Wednesday night, once again sponsored by Rollins, is a great place to catch up with all those from overseas.

On Thursday afternoon, the Global Pest Management Coalition is holding an open meeting. All international delegates are most welcome. Come along and find out what this group has been working on.

The event finishes on Friday evening with the PestFest closing party. With local bands and fun activities, it is an ideal opportunity to let your hair down and say farewell to colleagues and new friends made.
