Pelsis announce launch of new electrostatic ULV fogger in fight against Covid-19

BPCA member and global manufacturer of hygiene and pest control products Pelsis Group have launched a new product to help stop the spread of Covid-19.

With regional lockdowns set to continue and strict cleaning routines enforced, businesses have a duty of care to their staff and customers. Fogging is now a commonly used method of fighting Covid-19 as part of a thorough cleaning and sanitisation process.

The Hurricane ES (Electrostatic) fogger is an Ultra-Low Volume (ULV) hand held fogging machine and uses electrostatic technology to charge tiny droplets of disinfectant solution to create an ultra-low volume fog.

The electrostatically charged micro particles repel each other as they are dispersed into the atmosphere at high speeds, delivering quick, consistent coverage and stronger contact with all surfaces for optimum cleaning.

Initially made in Jackson USA by Curtis Dyna-fog, Pelsis now plan to localise production of the fogger at the groups UK facility to fulfill domestic and European demand.

Speaking from the Pelsis head office in Knaresborough, Yorkshire, Andrew Milner, Group CEO said, “We’re very excited to bring the Hurricane ES to the UK and European markets. The electrostatic functionality of the product gives it the edge and is perfect for high touch at risk areas.

"Our technical teams have worked hard to get all the necessary CE approvals for sale across Europe and the result is a high quality product which we believe can make real difference to businesses and communities.”
