The course covers all aspects of the Level 2 syllabus in 6-9 hours of training and splits the teaching into ten easy-to-manage modules.
During the Level 2 Award in Health and Safety programme, you will learn:
The course content has been written by leading experts in the field of health and safety and considers hazards and risks as well as how to spot them and determine the best controls. You will also learn what you must do in the event of an accident.
Topics covered will include:
- Accidents including slips, trips and falls
- Legal responsibilities
- Risk assessment
- Workplace health, safety and welfare
- Work equipment
- Fire
- First aid
- Manual handling
- Hazardous substances (COSHH)
This qualification is awarded by HABC.
Online learning and online exam
The online e-learning course can be taken at any time. You'll need headphones to study the course material.
You will have up to 6 months from booking the online course to study the course and take the HABC Level 2 Award in Health and Safety online exam.

Exam results will take 2-4 weeks.
Upon completing the e-learning course, you will receive a BPCA/HABC Certificate of Completion.
You will then sit the HABC Level 2 Award in Health and Safety, 45 minutes, 20 Multiple Choice Question online exam with remote invigilation.
The qualification is awarded by HABC.
The course fee includes six months of access to the online course material and online exam.
