Overview

Upon completion of the online learning course, you will understand:

  • The definition of working at height
  • Legal responsibilities of employers and employees
  • How to choose the most appropriate safety equipment
  • How to safely use and maintain different types of equipment
  • The specific challenges relating to working on roofs.

This short course is suitable for anyone who undertakes work at height or who employs people who regularly work at height, such as pest control technicians, technical inspectors, field biologists, managers, directors and owners.

Assessment

There is no assessment or prerequisites for this course.

Upon successful completion of the course candidates will receive a BPCA Certificate of Completion in Work at Height. You will be able to print this certificate online.

Online course cancellations will only be accepted on receipt of written instruction and are effective from the date received by the BPCA. Cancellations will not be given if online learning has been accessed.
