Health and Safety Refresher for Support Staff

Training can play a vital role in reducing the risk of a workplace injury or accident.

Providing effective health and safety training will help ensure that your employees know how to work safely and without risk to themselves or others.

BPCA has put together a package of health and safety training we think that support staff working within your organisation will benefit from. This package consists of five modules:

Display Screen Equipment

DSE Training is a legal requirement for anyone who regularly uses display screen equipment. Our DSE Training helps you work towards compliance with The Health and Safety (Display Screen Equipment) Regulations 1992. It helps DSE users avoid RSI, headaches, eyestrain, and back problems, all of which are proven to contribute to absenteeism. Our course is IOSH & RoSPA Approved and includes an online DSE Risk Assessment.

Fire Awareness

Whatever environment you operate in, all staff legally require Fire Awareness training. This online training course covers the basics, keeps your workplace safe, and helps you comply with current legislation. It is IOSH and RoSPA-approved.

Driver Awareness

This driver awareness training course has been designed for those who drive as part of their job, including commuting. It is IOSH and RoSPA-approved and accredited for CPD. This course looks at the legal requirements and responsibilities surrounding driving safely. It also covers what to do if you break down or have an accident while on the road.

Electrical Safety

This Electrical Safety Training Course is for everyone because everyone uses electricity and electrical appliances on a daily basis. It offers practical advice and guidance for safety when working around electricity. With our IOSH-approved electrical safety training, you can work towards legal compliance with current legislation.

Health and Safety Skills

Health and Safety compliance in the workplace is the responsibility of both employers and employees. It is essential for protecting the pest management professionals, the workplace in general and your clients from the risk of accident and injury.
