Salary: Competitive, starting from £60,000 per annum, commensurate with skills, experience, and the successful applicant’s fit for the role.
Field based, with extensive travel across the UK, plus regular overnights away from home
Permanent, full-time position. 36.5 hours per week
The postholder plays a crucial role in devising and ensuring the delivery of the membership development/engagement strategy, including plans, objectives and Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) in line with the BPCA’s mission and vision.
They’ll be an active member of the BPCA Senior Management Team, influencing processes, procedures and policies across the organisation. The role has overall responsibility for the delivery and maintenance of quality, as well as the range of member support services, benefits, and partnerships.
Your work will involve leading the technical and membership team, which is a small, dynamic team within an award-winning Association, full of trade association professionals.

The person
You’ll have an established background in a relevant role and above all, you’ll be an excellent communicator with a passion for the sector and protecting public health.
This is an outward-facing role with clear deliverables and requires a person who is willing to self-motivate, self-organise, and drive quality standards. To work with us, you must be dedicated to professionalism, ethical conduct, and maintaining confidentiality.
