Cibus Pest Control are looking for an experienced pest control technician to expand their team in the South of the UK. 

We are a unique band of pest professionals that solely service the food production and allied industries. Our technicians are able to dedicate themselves to a handful of sites and provide them with the best level of service possible. 

You will become part of a team whose ethos is about providing exemplary service, understanding the unique nature of our clients’ sites and supporting our customers in their compliance to standards such as BRCGS, SALSA, Soil Association, STS, M&S, Tesco etc.

Though the role will involve travelling across the south of the UK, you will on average service 1-2 customers per day, given their size and level of service.

As a Cibus technician you will need to have exceptional communication skills and be able to engage with a site’s technical or hygiene manager. Taking the time to hold review meetings, instigate new pest management strategies and understand the strict requirements surrounding food safety.

Our company is not based on strict timesheets, volumes or sales of goods. We are about our team giving 100% effort, 100% skill and 100% support on every visit. If you have done this then it doesn’t matter to us if, for example, you finish early for the day. Our business is about leaving a site knowing that you have done your best and ensured the site is as well protected for pests as possible.

Our customers encounter a wide variety of pests, but often these will include SPIs. Any applicant will need to have good knowledge and experience of Stored Product Insects alongside the standard vertebrates and invertebrates in the world of pest control.

Requirements for application

Qualifications

• Minimum - Level 2 Award in Pest Management 
• Ideal- Level 3 or above
• Even Better- Field Biologist

UK Resident – Southern Counties

Hold a full driving licence

Fluent in English (Verbal and Written)
