The event brings together food manufacturers, retailers and service providers to explore new ideas, products and technology shaping the food sector.

Alongside a full conference programme, there’s a busy exhibition where delegates can meet suppliers and industry experts face to face.

Supporting food businesses with professional pest management

Food safety and pest management go hand in hand. As the trade association for the UK public health pest management sector, we’re proud to be part of the conversation.

If you work in food manufacturing, retail or technical compliance, come and talk to us about:

  • Why professional pest management protects your brand and your customers
  • What to look for when choosing a pest control contractor
  • The value of working with a BPCA member
  • Training and qualifications for pest professionals working in food environments

We’ll also be happy to explain how BPCA supports standards, competence and ongoing professional development across the sector.

John Horsley, BPCA’s Training and Professional Development Officer, will be on the stand throughout the day.

At BPCA, John works closely with pest professionals and employers to raise standards through training, qualifications and continuing professional development.

He also has nearly 15 years' experience in the pest control industry, having worked in both rural and urban environments managing a variety of pest species.

If you have questions about technician competence, pest species or how pest management underpins food safety, he’ll be pleased to chat.

Whether you’re reviewing your current pest management arrangements or simply want to understand more about how our sector supports the food chain, we’d love to see you.

See you in York

Innovation and continuous improvement are key themes of the day. The same is true in pest management.

If you’re attending Innovation Day, make time to visit the BPCA stand. Let’s talk about how high standards in pest management help protect food businesses and public health.
