In January 2023 the European Chemicals Agency (ECHA) said in a statement that it now considers mechanical traps suitable alternatives to anticoagulants for controlling indoor mice infestations.

In the future, the rules may change all across Europe in respect of the tools which can be used to control indoor infestations of House mice (Mus musculus).

While the UK has left the EU, decisions by the European Commission are likely to influence decision-makers here.

We need your help to ensure that the European Commission and national governments take into account the experience and opinions of professional pest managers in Europe.

Please complete this survey and encourage other pest managementprofessionals to do the same.

This survey is being coordinated by the European pest management association CEPA in cooperation with national pest management associations
