"Be Protected. Professionally." campaign launched

BPCA asks end-users is your pest control contractor "fit for the fight?" in a new campaign to highlight member professionalism.

The campaign is a part of BPCA's commitment to spread the word that all Servicing Members are now independently audited to the British Standard EN16636.

420 BPCA Servicing Members have been audited against BS EN16636 as of 1st July 2017. Since Members have 12-months in which to be audited to the standard - this number will grow over time.

The EN16636 is the only standard for pest control that is recognised throughout Europe. There isn’t a higher standard out there that members could be audited to. Having them done by independent auditors helps end-users have confidence in a servicing company.

Natalie Bungay, BPCA Technical and Field Officer

We have produced a new flyer that gets to the heart of why a BPCA member should be chosen above other pest management companies.

Be Protected professionally BPCA member

It's tough talk, but we believe that nobody is better equipped to protect Britain against public health pests than our members. This flyer sets out our proof. The only reason we can think a specifier would pick a non-BPCA member over one of our members is that they don't know what being a member entails. We think that when a specifier has seen a "Be protected..." leaflet, they'll pick a BPCA member over another servicing company every time. I encourage all members to get the content of this flyer onto their websites.

Ben Massey, BPCA Marketing and Communications Manager

BPCA will be distributing the flyers at events around the UK over the next 18 months.

The information has also been added to the BPCA Find a Pest Controller tool, as to help web users select contractors with confidence.

We have made the flyer available to download so members can help end-users "stay protected" by selecting a BPCA member.
