Presented by: Dave Archer, Owner, DKA Pest Control
Dave Archer has been involved in pest control all of his life. From an early age, he was out in the countryside learning from the best teacher of all - Mother Nature. Wild rabbits and wood pigeons were in plentiful supply and he spent many hours ferreting, working terriers, shooting and flying hawks.
His obvious career choice was in pest control and he now lives in rural mid-Devon, in his fifth decade of pest control and wildlife management.
Previously he has provided rural pest control training through the (as it was known by then) Agricultural Training Board and has also been a freelance examiner with the Royal Society of Health. He sits on the advisory panel for Pest Magazine as a rural wildlife specialist.
An expert in his field, Dave has given many talks and displays over the years. He says:
“I’m always very keen to help others learn. Sharing our knowledge with each other is one of the ways that we can ensure pest management professionals are working to the highest level of expertise.
“Events like this can only help to raise those standards, and I’m looking forward to a fun and informative day.”
This Seminar is held at PPC Live and is completely free to attend.
