Mole Control

This course is aimed at those already working in pest control who now wish to gain a more in-depth knowledge of the principles of mole control. 

This online classroom course is aimed at pest control technicians who are looking to develop new skills or advance or refresh their existing skills around professional mole control.

The course will cover the main impacts of mole control, including biology and behaviour, legislation and why we control moles.

You'll receive practical training around control methods and trapping techniques.

Overview

Upon completion of the course, delegates will: :

  • Understand the driving factors behind mole behaviour concerning pest management
  • Understand the role that the mole life cycle plays in developing effective management strategies
  • Understand the reasons why moles need to be controlled
  • Be able to identify the most effective types of management options across a range of environments.

Whilst not mandatory, we advise that to get the most out of this course, delegates attending should already be qualified to a minimum Level 2 Award in Pest Management and have a working knowledge of mole control within pest control environments.

Delivery

This is a half-day classroom course. 9.30am to 1.00pm.

Candidates will be encouraged to engage in discussions, share experiences and ask questions.

Slides from the training will NOT be available, so please ensure that you have pens and paper to enable you to take your own notes.

Assessments

There is no assessment for this course.

Upon completing this course, you will receive a BPCA Certificate of Completion in Principles of Mole Control.

If you are on BPCA Registered, you will earn 3.5 CPD points for completing the course.

If you are on Basis Prompt, you will receive TBC CPD points for completing the course.
