The UK Government has advised against all unnecessary gatherings to help stop the spread of Covid 19. BPCA has taken the decision to postpone all events, training and exams. It’s our first priority to keep everyone safe, including our visitors and staff. We’ll be rescheduling Forums when we’re advised by the UK Government it is safe to do so.
BPCA technical and business support is still available to all BPCA members. Members are encouraged to contact our team for support if they need it.
If you’re worried about recording CPD points, take a look at our free webinars and our CPD quizzes, which can be taken online. Alternatively, if you’re on BPCA Registered, you can record unstructured CPD points for activities like reading article, watching videos, personal research and technical discussions over the phone.

BPCA Midlands Forum agenda
Every BPCA Forum is unique and the sessions will vary depending on the location. As soon as we’ve confirmed all the speakers we’ll update this page and email all the registered guests a copy of the agenda.
Last year we had talks about fly monitoring, rats in attics and drains, marketing support, bee control, bed bug management and much more!

9.45 - Breakout Session A - Hands on basics of bird proofing
Practical training session on the core competencies for netting, post and wire and bird shock flex track proofing solutions. You will be taught the best way to install the systems to achieve the best results, both in efficacy and aesthetics including common do’s and don’ts, with lots of hands on learning!
10.30 - Refreshments and networking
11.00 - Pest v Protected, Urban Wildlife
Urban Wildlife take a look at habitats shared by pests and their protected counterparts. This talk will cover common problems when treating pests whilst staying inside the law around protected species.
11.45 - Breakout Session B - The future of insecticide restrictions and alternatives to Ficam W
An interactive discussion session exploring the future of insecticides and life without the use of Ficam W in the pest control industry. This session will specifically examine the variety of alternatives on the market from Ficam and analyse the best alternatives from a technical standpoint.
