Bird Control Operations Manager

AGS One Pest Control is seeking a dynamic Bird Control Operations Manager to lead our bird control operations across the UK, with a focus on rail and airport facilities. This full-time role offers an opportunity to be part of a forward-thinking team committed to delivering exceptional service standards.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assist our team of Surveyors in strategically surveying, pricing, and selling bird proofing projects within all industries but with an emphasis in the transport sector, particularly at airports and rail stations.
• Oversee the execution of bird proofing projects, ensuring compliance with Risk Assessments and Method Statements (RAMS).
• Adapt to a flexible shift pattern aligned with business requirements, including nationwide travel and night shift work.
• Always represent AGS One Pest Control professionally, enhancing our reputation within the transport industry and beyond.
• Support national account management and contribute to business expansion efforts.
• Achieve and surpass monthly and quarterly performance targets.
• Utilise and update company software tools to streamline operations.
• Fulfil Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) related to service quality, operational efficiency, and customer satisfaction.
• Conduct thorough inspections of completed projects, identifying potential entry points, additional opportunities, and provide comprehensive maintenance recommendations.
• Keep up to date with technological innovations within the industry.

Credentials and Experience:

• A minimum of two years’ experience in delivering bird control services within the transport sector, managing projects with an annual turnover of at least £1.5m.
• RSPH/BPCA Level 2 or Level 3 certification in pest management.
• Comprehensive knowledge of pest control practices, with a passion for practical application.
• Ability to work in diverse conditions, including confined spaces and extreme temperatures.
• Excellent communication skills and a proactive problem-solving mindset.
• Strong organizational and time management abilities, capable of independent workload management.
• Valid driving license
• Proficiency in bird netting installation techniques.

Salary:

Competitive, commensurate with experience. Bonus based on Gross Margin.
