VAN VYNCK ENVIRONMENTAL SERVICES LTD has been providing effective and sustainable bird management using falconry to London and the South East for over 25 years. We are currently looking for an articulate and motivated individual with experience in working with birds of prey to join our team of full time professional falconers.
The successful candidate will live in the Greater London Area and will have previous experience of keeping and flying birds of prey. Full support and training will be provided in the techniques associated with the use of falconry in pest control. This is an exciting opportunity for the right individual to combine a passion for falconry with full time and fully supported employment.
Job Description:
 
•    Train maintain and fly hawks or falcons at various site in order to break nuisance bird behavioural patterns
•    Identify and implement additional supporting services as part of an overall Integrated Bird Management Program.
•    Carry out specialist bird control services such as culling by shooting and trapping
•    Actively seek and process new leads to sales team for bird proofing services
•    Meet KPI’s for quality and performance
•    Complete detailed service reports for work completed and identify ongoing recommendations
•    Report regularly with customer management team(s)
•    
Candidate:
•    Must have previous experience of keeping and flying birds of prey
•    Lantra Award in falconry an advantage but not essential
•    Will have a broad knowledge of falconry
•    Competent written & verbal communication Skills
•    Have a full clean driving licence
•    Will live in the greater London area
Working hours
•    Core hours of Sunday – Thursday 04:00 – 12:00 hrs
•    Some flexibility required
