The role:

The role will include commercial and domestic pest control throughout Oxfordshire and neighbouring counties. This will require some longer travelling on some days.

Starting salary of £28,500 rising to £32,000 after initial 6 months probation period. Salary increases after this will depend on your experience, reliability and work ethic.

Main Duties:

• To carry out varying pest control duties to all types of premises and locations
• To provide a high-quality service to all customers - commercial and domestic with a genuine interest in resolving their pest control issues
• To inspect, advise and plan appropriate treatment for pest problems
• To attend scheduled visits and same day call outs
• To maintain legible and presentable records
• To maintain a safe and stocked vehicle and to ensure safe working practices.

The Candidate must:

• Be qualified to BPCA / RSPH Level 2 in Pest Management
• Be experienced in dealing with a range of pest problems
• Have a full, clean driving licence & mobile phone
• Be able to work with minimal supervision (once shadow training is complete)
• Be self-motivated, trustworthy, hardworking, reliable and honest with a good work ethic
• Have a positive attitude & use good common sense
• Be clean, tidy, organised and always have a professional manner
• Have good communication skills (both verbal and written) and be confident with dealing with customers at all levels.
