We are seeking to recruit an experienced and innovative Pest Control Supervisor to assist in delivering a high quality pest control service to the businesses and residential properties across the borough. Alongside pest control treatment and supervision of the Pest Control Team, Pest Control Supervisor will work closely with Public Realm Commercial Services Business Officers, to develop and enhance the capacity of Barking and Dagenham Pest Control Service. Assist in promotion and marketing of the service to increase the council’s market share of the pest control sector and to ensure the service delivers the corporate objectives of:

Encouraging civic pride;

Enabling social responsibility; and

Growing the borough.

About You

The successful candidate should have considerable experience of managing, motivating and developing staff, to supervise a team of up to 4 Pest Control Officers and to deputise for the Service Manager when required.

You will also hold an RSPH Level 2 certificate in pest control or equivalent and have broad experience in Pest Control work and up to date knowledge of Pest Control legislation, contemporary working practices and latest developments.
