What we are looking for:

Leeds City Council are seeking to recruit a Pest Control Officer for our pest control team.

- We are looking for a team player who is passionate about pest control and providing the best in customer service.

- You will be visiting our customers across your area to inspect premises and carry out appropriate treatments for a range of pests, in particular rodents and insects, as well as promoting our service.

- You should possess excellent communication skills and have experience in organising managing a busy caseload with the ability to work effectively independently with minimal supervision.

- You will also need to keep accurate records of the work undertaken and be competent in the use of I.T.

- You will be able to build excellent working relationships with internal and external stakeholders.

Job requirements:

The successful applicant will require a RSPH or BPCA Level 2 Pest Control qualification (or equivalent).

A current full UK Driving Licence is also essential.

We offer a competitive salary, generous annual leave, flexi-time scheme, and the use of a council vehicle.

Working hours are 37 hours per week plus occasional participation in the teams, ‘On-Call’ service to our commercial businesses, where required, in which you will receive an on-call payment.
