Pest Control Technician - Strathearn Pest Control

Salary: £19,000 to £24,000

Description

We have an opportunity for an experienced technician to join our team and cover the Fife area. Living local to Fife, you will manage a broad range of customers in the Commercial, Residential and Agricultural sites.

Qualified to RSPH Level 2 in Pest Management, you will carry out inspections and treatments and promote additional work where opportunities arise

Description

  • Reporting to the Service Manager, you will deal with a wide variety of pests and will ensure all control methods meet BPCA (British Pest Control Association) and CRRU (Campaign of the Responsible Use of Rodenticide) standards
  • You will work primarily on your own, managing your own customer portfolio and help customers meet auditable standards including SALSA, BRC and SQC.
  • You will also play an active role in the delivery of bird control solutions.
  • Achieve additional sales of products and services
  • Commitment to a continuous programme of personal development and learning
  • Attend meetings and training sessions
  • Inclusion on a Saturday duty rota
  • Overtime may be required

Qualifications

  • Full valid driving licence
  • Competent use of email and mobile technology
  • RSPH / BPCA (level 2) Certificate in Pest Control
  • IPAF 3a and 3b (desirable)
  • PASMA Certified (desirable)
  • LANTRA Safe Use of Aluminium Phosphide (desirable)
  • Full Criminal Records Disclosure

Full training will be given to the suitable candidate
