Job Overview

Due to our continued growth Westgate Pest Control have a vacancy for a pest control technician to cover the East Sussex area. The position is full time 40 hours per week and ideally, we require an individual who holds, as a minimum, the RSPH level 2 in Pest Management or equivalent. Experience is preferred but not essential as full training will be provided. You will need a full clean driving licence.

We provide professional pest control service predominately in Sussex, Surrey and Kent. We are a technically focussed company and aim to do things correctly. We are a “young and dynamic” company, you will be part of a small team and will need to be able to “muck in” where needed. We encourage and support personal development and would actively encourage you as an individual to utilise your skills and aspirations to develop, in conjunction with our company.

The core functions of the role are

• Carry out pest surveys and treatments using an IPM approach
• Provide in depth documentation to record your work
• Manage a portfolio of contracted services at a wide variety and sometimes challenging sites
• Attend and resolve call out work for a full range of pest species
• Be capable of attending meetings with new customers and presenting our professional services
• Being flexible and positive with a can-do attitude.

What you will need

• Be committed and professional
• Be based in the East Sussex area
• Computer literate
• Have excellent communication skills both verbally and in written form
• To possess the skills necessary to be Self-motivated, reliable, friendly and customer service focussed
• Hold good problem-solving skills

• Salary ss between £19,000 - £21,000 dependent on experience
