Description

Are you looking for a new and varied role? 

Due to expansion, we are looking for an enthusiastic, self-motivated pest control technician to help us manage our very busy portfolio of existing clients.

The ideal candidate will have a "can do" attitude, be able to manage their own time effectively, use their own initiative, and have good problem solving skills.

The right person will be qualified to BPCA/RSPH Level 2 in pest management and must have a minimum of 2 years’ experience in Pest Control. The candidate must be thorough in their approach to work, ensuring our clients get the very best possible service.

A full clean UK driving licence is required, with a minimum of 2 years driving experience required.

The role is very varied, very busy and includes routine commercial and domestic visits, undertaking pest control inspections, carrying out the required treatment, as well as responding to call outs when necessary.

The candidate must be able to keep legible, accurate records, as some of our reporting is in paper format, therefore, good hand writing skills are essential.  

We also use an online platform for reporting, therefore, good knowledge of how to use phones and tablets is also desirable. Training on our online platform will be provided for the successful candidate.

Although based in Oldham/Rochdale, we do cover the North West areas and some Midlands work.

Company Benefits:

A van will be provided, access to a fuel card, along with a uniform, all aspects of PPE (where required), and materials required for undertaking daily duties. A handheld tablet and mobile phone will also be provided.

Candidate Requirements:

Any candidate will be subject to a full DBS clearance check before any position will be confirmed.

The successful candidate will be expected to work 40 hours per week and will be entitled to 25 days holidays, plus bank holidays. There is some degree of flexibility in working hours, however, our core hours of 9-5pm do need to be covered by the business.

The candidate will also be expected to be available for call outs 1 weekend every month - This will be paid as overtime at a rate of time and a half.

Any personal expenses, accrued during your daily duties will be repaid to you on submission of an expenses form.
