Who we are:

- Border Control is a professional business who provide expert service and advise to the commercial and domestic Pest Control market. We specialise in bird management, which includes engineering projects (netting), clearance projects and flying birds of prey in a controlled environment.

- We mostly work in the Midlands, however some projects are further afield and offer the opportunity to travel.

What we offer:

-You will be fully trained to deal with all these specialist projects including engineering, general pest control and Falconry.

- You will gain experience and qualifications in Health and Safety, Working at Height, Asbestos awareness and many other important subjects to keep your training and knowledge on track.

What you need to bring to the table is:

- You must be adaptable with some common sense engineering skills. We can teach skills, we can’t teach common sense!

- You must have a desire to get the job completed with a positive, can-do attitude. We like solutions, not problems.

- Our teams work across the Midlands so a clean driving license, that you have held for more than 5 years, is essential.

- You'll be working full-time with flexibility to achieve business needs as required.

• You must hold a full clean UK driving license, issued before 2018.
• Be comfortable working outdoors or out, in confined spaces and at height!
• Possess or able to obtain state pest certification (RSPH/IPCA)
• Experience of face to face customer service with strong verbal communication skills
• Ability to refer customer leads (to add to your bonus package)
• Previous pest elimination industry or field service experience advantageous.
• Ability to plan and prioritise workload
• Pay: £27,000.00-£36,000.00 per year
