SDK Environmental Limited (also trading as Dial A Pest) is one of the leading providers of pest control services to local government in the South of England. We are now preparing to recruit this year’s intake of temporary wasp technicians for the summer season, which runs between June and October.

Induction training takes place in May with deployment commencing in June - July

Salary

Basic hourly rate: £8.45
Bonus opportunity of £20.00 per day  
Additional supplementary bonus opportunity of a further £20.00 per day
Potential daily rate of: £103.38

Job Description

• Visit resident's homes to carry out wasp treatments in accordance with company safe systems of work and procedures.
• Provide customers with a quality and efficient service that is appropriate to their needs and in accordance with SDK’s Customer Service Excellence Accreditation.

Job Requirements

• You will need to be available for the summer season.
• You will need to understand and respond to clients in a polite and friendly manner.
• You will be required to carry out the role safely and to the highest standard.
• You should demonstrate a high level of personal and professional integrity, be capable of working under pressure to meet deadlines and be comfortable using e-mail and satellite navigation aids.
• A full driving licence is mandatory and you must be prepared to undergo a basic DBS (formally CRB check).
• You should be available for work Monday to Friday or Tuesday to Saturday (Core working hours are between 8.00 am and 5.00 pm).
• Previous experience and qualifications in this role is an advantage but full training will be given.
