We are an independent, forward thinking pest control company operating throughout many parts of the UK.  As our business grows we are looking to recruit a customer focused Surveyor and Customer Account Manager to join our business development and management team.  Reporting directly to the National Account Manager, this is an exciting opportunity for the right candidate.  Experience within the pest control industry is desirable but more important is that candidates have the right attitude and work ethic.

Occasional overnight stays away may be required and will be paid for by the company.

Main duties will be, but not limited to

• ·         Carry out pest control surveys for a wide range of customers.
•            Seek new business opportunities, generate new leads.
•            Sales reporting, administration and record keeping.
•            Attend customer review meetings.
•            Attend seminars & industry exhibitions.
  
• ·         Complete survey reports and prepare quotations.
• ·         Complete RAMS and other relevant company documentation.
• ·         Manage your own workload and customer portfolio.
• ·         Undertake training courses.
• ·         Attend regular sales and service meetings.

Essential criteria

• ·         A full, valid driving license.
• ·         Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
•           Excellent pipeline planning skills.
  
• ·         Have a methodical approach to your work with attention to detail.
• ·         Ability to prioritise your work load, be flexible with your working hours to meet the operational needs of our     business.
• ·         Be self-motivated and able to work alone or as part of a team.

Desirable criteria, but not essential

• ·         Previous pest control experience, in a sales/surveyor role
• ·         Qualified to BPCA Level 2.
