Sun Pest Control Ltd are looking for a fully trained Pest Control Technician to carry out pest control treatments and make routine inspections for both commercial and residential customers. 

The successful applicant will be:

• Self-motivated, enthusiastic, positive, and willing to work effectively and independently with minimal supervision
• Well-presented both in terms of personal appearance, vehicle cleanliness, tidiness and upkeep of kit
• Good communication skills written and verbal
• Have a can-do attitude and problem solving skills
• Have excellent attention to detail
• RSPH Level 2 trained,
• Basic knowledge of bird proofing systems and legislation would be advantageous but not essential
• Must be confident working at height, using ladders, working in confined spaces e.g. lofts as well as working outdoors
• Must live in South London – SM, KT, SW or CR postcodes

Main duties:

• Inspect customer premises and provide written reports on levels of pest infestation to determine the most effective solution to eradicate the pests
• Organise and undertake a programme of treatments using pesticides to control pests
• Carry out rodent proofing, disinfection and cleaning treatments
• Record visits, send reports and book appointments using smartphone apps

• A basic salary of £24,000 + bonuses + overtime + sales commission

• Working hours will be Monday – Friday 8:30am-4:30pm but is flexible to suit the needs either you or the company
