DALPEST Pest Solutions are looking to expand our team with a new Trainee Pest Technician in the Peterborough / Huntingdon area. Full training will be provided for this role, so, if you have ever considered working within the varied and exciting field of pest control, then this might be the right role for you!

We are currently expanding our business and we are offering an exciting opportunity for a Trainee Pest Technician to come and join our team!
No previous experience is necessary as our tailored one-on-one training will give you all the knowledge and experience required to fulfil the role, and you also have the chance to become a fully qualified technician.

As a trainee you will learn how to use, identify, treat and prevent pest problems as well as gaining skills to carry out property surveys using hi-tech camera equipment. You will be provided with hands on training from our experienced team members and be fully supported in your journey.

Our New Trainee Pest Technician will have the following attributes

  • A positive can-do attitude and a fast learner
  • Works well in a team and independently
  • Desire to be involved with a wide range of pests
  • Excellent organisation skills and a good sense of prioritisation
  • A confident communicator with a high level of attention to detail
  • Previous experience working in a customer based role is an advantage
  • Previous pest control experience would be an advantage but is not essential
  • A passion for pest control and the environment is key
  • A full driving license is essential due to the nature of the work and travel required to customer sites
  • Willingness to work towards your RSPH Level 2 Pest Management Qualification
