HSE launches searchable database of UK approved rodenticides

The Health and Safety Executive (HSE) have announced that over 250 rodenticide products have been authorised for use under the UK Rodenticide Stewardship Regime. Of those products, 102 have been authorised for use in waste dumps and 107 for use in open areas. These are the products that will feature the product labels containing the new legally binding stewardship phrases.

Although authorised by HSE, they will begin to trickle onto the market soon.

The final dates for the sale, supply and use of professional outdoor use anticoagulant products supported under stewardship but carrying pre-stewardship labels are as follows:

  • 30 September 2016 - Final date for sale and supply
  • 31 March 2017 - Final date for outdoor use
