BASF: Neosorexa is back!

PRESS RELEASE

Pest control solutions manufacturer, BASF, has just launched the new Neosorexa® Plus Blocks to the market for this autumn.

BASF-Neosorexaisback-hero

Delivering a lethal dose in a single feed, the rodenticide, containing the active flocoumafen to provide pest technicians with fast, effective control against house mice (Mus musculus), black rats (Rattus rattus), and brown rats (Rattus norvegicus).

Flocoumafen is a much more potent anticoagulant compared to the former Difenacoum, version of Neosorexa® Blocks, which was withdrawn in 2023 due to BASF’s decision to remove its full Difenacoum range due to market changes and increase to resistance to the active.

Combining the palatability of a soft block with the durability of a hard block, the unique, new formulation can withstand extreme temperatures and features an innovative binder that allows for a higher proportion of palatable ingredients, making it more readily consumed than a typical wax block bait.

Available in 5kg tubs, Neosorexa® Plus Blocks can allow pest technicians to regain control in as few as 14 days, outperforming many other anticoagulants on the market.

Importantly, it is effective even on rodents that are resistant to other anticoagulants that contain actives like Difenacoum and Bromadiolone.

Laurence Barnard, Country Business Manager for BASF’s Professional & Specialty Solutions, commented: “It is an exciting time at BASF, as we continue to introduce innovative solutions designed to help make pest control easier, more efficient and more effective.

“The Neosorexa® brand has been a much-loved and trusted product for decades and following the withdrawal of the original range in 2023, we are delighted to introduce Neosorexa® Plus Blocks to the market to provide pest controllers with another product in their toolbox.”

He added; “this is the start of a series of products we will launch under the Neosorexa® Plus brand over the coming years.”

Neosorexa® Plus Blocks will be available from the middle of October with all good suppliers.
