LNPS beat service providers from across the country to win the Best Commercialisation and Entrepreneurship Initiative in the APSE Service Awards 2024.

LNPS was also shortlisted again in the Best Efficiency and Transformation Initiative which the company won in 2020.

LNPS Managing Director Paul Cooper said, “We are really thrilled to win another title in these very prestigious awards. We hope that our success will inspire other small pest control businesses to come up with big ideas that can potentially change how the industry operates - such as our innovative pest proofing service.

“I am very proud of what we have achieved so far. We have lots more ideas to improve and provide an even better service. Watch this space!”

The APSE awards are for all local authorities and their public-sector partners across the United Kingdom, recognising frontline services teams as well as special initiatives.

Speaking about the Awards, Mo Baines, APSE Chief Executive, said: "Across local government, there are a multitude of people working to deliver the very best for their local communities.

"At a time when national politics is dominating the headlines, it is more vital than ever that we acknowledge the dedication of our frontline service teams and the positive impact they have on their communities.

“APSE is proud to give local authorities the recognition they deserve through the Annual Service Awards. This year’s winners are a testament to the innovation, dedication and perseverance shown by the unsung heroes of local government – congratulations to you all!”

The APSE Awards are specific to frontline services provided by UK local authorities. This year, the Awards included 17 categories, covering the vast majority of local services, as well as the prestigious Overall Council of the Year in Service Delivery Award.

London Network for Pest Solutions (LNPS) is a multi, award-winning Pest Control Company wholly owned by the London Borough of Newham.
