As a result of the deal, the BPS team will join forces with NBC Environment, one of the Group’s four principal business divisions, which was itself bought by Orkin in 2022.

The deal expands the Orkin UK Group to over 375 employees and increases its geographical footprint in the South East of England.

Commenting on the expansion, Orkin UK Services managing director, Kristian Dales said: “I’d like to extend a warm welcome to Dave Green and all the BPS team joining Orkin UK at this exciting time. Their skills and expertise will be a great addition to the strength of our existing business divisions Albany Pest Control, NBC Environment, Guardian Legionella and Safeguard Pest Control.

“In the coming months we will be working closely with Dave and his team, investing time and resources into BPS to bring the companies together.”

Bird and Pest Solutions have been providing expert, professional and ethical bird and pest control services for over 15 years. The company’s highly trained team of bird and pest control technicians undertakes all types of commercial and residential pest removal, pest prevention, bird deterrent, bird proofing, bio-cleaning and wildlife management.

Mr Dales added: “This is yet another step in our journey to strengthen our position as a leading UK service provider. Through a series of acquisitions the group of Orkin companies is now one of the top four pest control businesses in the UK. I am hoping to announce further acquisitions in the next few months.”

NBC is one of the most respected names in pest control and has worked in some of the most diverse and challenging environments, including offshore, nuclear, rail, hospitals, housing associations and utilities.

Since 2016, Orkin UK Services has been expanding its reach and expertise through strategic acquisitions across the UK. With Orkin UK Service’s principal business divisions being Albany Pest Control, Guardian Legionella Services, NBC Environment and Safeguard Pest Control, the Group offers comprehensive pest, bird and legionella services across the country.
