Ben’s award completes hat-trick for BPCA

Marketing and Communications Manager Ben Massey has scooped a national award to complete a remarkable hat-trick for the British Pest Control Association.

Ben wins MemCom awardThe 29-year-old was named young marketing executive of the year at the MemCom Awards - a nationwide competition that rewards membership excellence. The recognition, which comes before the end of Ben's first full year in the job, is the third major accolade won by the BPCA in 12 months.

Simon Forrester was named chief executive of the year at the Association Awards in November while the body picked up another prestigious accolade for its innovative online training programme. The awards ceremony took place last week in London where Ben was commended for making ‘an outstanding contribution' since joining the organisation in July.

He has project managed renovation of the Associations key communication channels including PPC and an imminent new website, completed large-scale research projects, built the foundations of a network bringing together member companies to produce joint contract bids, and launched an awards evening for BPCA members.

He said: "I'm delighted and honoured to win such a prestigious award, particularly in my first year in the role.

"But while it's great to receive personal recognition, it's really a reflection of the hard work and dedication of the entire team."
