New TAS Auditor declares his love for all things pest management

Jeff Warren has joined Trade Association Services as a new auditor.

His work will involve auditing pest control companies across the United Kingdom to EN 16636: 2015 including BPCA members who want to become CEPA Certified.

I’ve been in the pest control industry for over 25 years. I started out building fly screens and then took the opportunity to become a service technician with Forward Pest Control - that’s where the love story with pest control began.

Jeff Warren, Trade Associations Services

After completing his Level 2 qualification through BPCA, he became a surveyor and then went on to manage a bird control team.

When Forward were bought out by Cannon Pest Control, he was promoted to an area supervisor, then the service manager, eventually ending up as Cannon’s national account manager

Jeff started working with TAS and Bureau Veritas in August. When asked about his how he was getting on, he told us:

“It’s been a great move! The entire team at Bureau Veritas, BPCA and TAS have been extremely welcoming and supportive during this initial period and I couldn’t have asked for more. I am truly excited to be part of this fast-moving team. I look forward to the many exciting and challenging times ahead.”

Outside of his hectic auditing schedule, Jeff is a keen clay pigeon shooter and has five grandchildren to keep him busy.

BPCA Technical Manager, Dee Ward-Thompson commented on the appointment:

“Jeff brings a wealth of experience to the TAS auditor team. Auditing to the EN16636 standard requires the auditors to have great pest knowledge, as well as customer relation and auditing skills. Recruiting an auditor with Jeff’s experience will continue to ensure BPCA members are audited by auditors that fully understand your industry.”

The European Standard in Pest Management ensures that companies within the British pest control industry are among the highest quality pest control companies in Europe.
