New way to pass your Level 2 Award in Pest Management

BPCA has announced a new 7-day, modular, non-residential training course in the centre of London this November.

As part of its membership criteria, BPCA recognises the Level 2 Award in Pest Management as the entry-level qualification for pest control technicians.

Pass you level 2 award in pest management in bite-sized chunks

Traditionally, through BPCA’s training portfolio, this course is delivered as either:

  • A 5-day intensive classroom course
  • An online learning programme.

In both cases, assessment is currently set as three x one-hour written exam papers taken simultaneously upon completion of the training.

New way to take the exam

Following feedback from members we are now launching a new modular format.

This allows candidates to study over 7 days with a one-hour assessment immediately following each module.

This way candidates can focus on one module and take the assessment before moving onto studying the next module.

Our first course is being held in London with the following timetable:

Karen Dawes, BPCA Training Manager, said:

“There’s a lot for candidates to learn when studying for the Level 2 Award in Pest Management.

“When you’re new to the industry, or if you haven’t taken exams in a long time, it can sometimes be overwhelming to process it all and sit a three-hour exam at the end of it.

“By breaking the course down into smaller parts candidates will be able to focus their efforts and be better prepared for each examination”.
