Thank you for agreeing to submit an article for  Professional Pest Controller (PPC) magazine. PPC is a not-for-profit trade magazine, created by the British Pest Control Association (BPCA).
By submitting an article to Professional Pest Controller (PPC) magazine, you agree to the following terms and conditions:
1. Editorial rights
PPC editors reserve the right to subedit, modify, or adapt the submission for clarity, length, or to correspond with the BPCA style guide.
Contributors will be given the opportunity to review and approve the article in draft form prior to publication. However, due to time constraints, only one draft will be provided for review and feedback. Subsequent edits will be at the discretion of the editorial team. You may note any feedback as CRITICAL if you believe the amendment to be particularly important.
2. Content restrictions
PPC does not guarantee the inclusion of direct links to fundraising campaigns, but will consider this if they are for registered charities.
Any requests for promotion of fundraising must be disclosed clearly at the time of submission.
3. Use of imagery
PPC will not publish images of pests that have been controlled unless it is deemed there is an editorial need.
Editors reserve the right to use stock images or other editorial visuals to accompany the article, especially when no suitable images are provided by the contributor.
The final selection of images is at the sole discretion of the magazine’s editorial team.
4. Originality and rights
By submitting, the contributor confirms that the submission is their original work and does not infringe on the rights of any third party.
If the submission includes quotes, excerpts, or images from other sources, proper credit and permissions must be included.
5. Licensing
The contributor grants the magazine a license to publish, distribute, and archive the submission in print, online, on social media platforms, as well as on any other platforms or media. You will always be credited as the author.
6. Compensation
Unless otherwise agreed in writing, submissions are voluntary and unpaid.
7. Rejection and removal
Editors reserve the right to reject any submission or remove it from publication at any time, at their sole discretion.
8. Republishing
Republishing the article in another magazine, website, or medium not controlled by BPCA must be agreed upon by both parties.
If you have any questions about these terms or wish to alter them, please contact hello@bpca.org.uk. By submitting an article, you are bound by these terms.
