Asbestos Awareness

Being aware of asbestos, where it is found and the risks of exposure are essential for a pest professional working in pest control.

This online course provides an awareness-level introduction to the dangers of working with asbestos. It helps employers comply with the law by ensuring that their employees are appropriately trained to work safely.

The asbestos awareness course is designed for anyone who needs to understand what asbestos is and what is generally required by law, including pest control technicians, technical inspectors, field biologists, managers, directors and owners.

It is important to note that this training is NOT meant for people who do work that will disturb asbestos, as this requires specialist practical training.
