Staying compliant with rodenticide stewardship requirements is essential for pest professionals using professional-use rodenticides.

This BPCA member-only keynote webinar brings together three key CRRU-UK topics in one morning, helping you secure all the CPD points you’ll need to continue using professional rodenticides in 2027.
Delivered by the BPCA team, the session includes CRRU-UK-approved presentations and live Q&A so you can ask questions and discuss the practical implications for your day-to-day work.
Date: 2 December 2026
Time: 9.30 am – 12.30 pm
Location: Online (Zoom)
CPD: Earn 3 CRRU-UK-approved CPD points for 2027
This session is part of the BPCA Keynote series: longer, interactive online training courses designed to give members deeper, practical knowledge than a standard webinar.
In this member-only Keynote, we’ll cover:
- Rodenticide resistance - Understanding resistance risks, how they develop, and what pest professionals can do to manage and prevent it
- Permanent baiting update - The latest stewardship guidance on permanent baiting and what the 2026 update means in practice
- Exposure of wildlife to rodenticides - The evidence behind wildlife exposure and how responsible use helps protect non-target species.
Each session is based on the latest CRRU-UK CPD resources released in February 2026, with time for interactive questions and discussion.
Why this keynote matters
Since 1 January 2026, proof of competence requirements for purchasing and using professional-use rodenticides have changed. To buy and use these products, pest professionals must now show either:
- Certification from a CRRU-UK-approved training course within the past five years, or
- Certification older than five years plus membership of a CRRU-UK approved CPD scheme with 3 CRRU-UK CPD points recorded.
That means keeping your CPD up to date is more important than ever if you want to maintain access to professional rodenticides and continue working in line with stewardship requirements.
Want to secure your CPD earlier?
You do not have to wait until December.
Short CRRU-UK CPD courses will be available in your MyBPCA online learning account from April 2026, allowing you to complete the learning and secure your CPD points earlier in the year.
