We are a well-established family-run business based in Belfast/Carrickfergus. Due to our rapid growth over the past 2 years, we are actively seeking a full-time Pest Control Technician to join our team. Pest control is our passion and we can guarantee that no 2 days will be the same!

Reporting to the General Manager at head office, duties will include servicing both domestic and commercial pest control contracts across Northern Ireland to company standards.

Ideally, the successful candidate will have proven experience of dealing with all manner of common pests in both a reactive and proactive capacity.

Our minimum requirements for this role are-

• RSPH Level 2/BPCA Level 1 award in Pest Management – willing to consider candidates working towards this
• Minimum of 1 year’s practical experience in the field
• Competent written and spoken communication skills in the English language
• Possession of a full, clean driving license
• Be self-motivated and able to work on your own initiative
• Comfortable working at heights and getting dirty as this role will involve working in challenging environments.
• Basic IT skills and ability to use iPad/smartphone for emails, messages, and treatment reports.
• Positive attitude to work and a willingness for additional learning
• Proven ability to manage and organise their own workload
• able to identify and convert additional works such as proofing and pest clean/clear jobs

The standard working day will be an eight-hour shift however a certain degree of flexibility in this role is essential.

A company vehicle, PPE, Equipment, Uniform, Mobile phone, Fuel Card, and tablet for reporting on scheduled jobs will be supplied to the successful candidate.

Salary will be competitive and based on experience.
