Service Manager - Enserve

Description

Job description – Must have hands on pest control experience as a supervisor / manager. Must have several years technical experience and have been on various technical course to include RSPH level 2 as a minimum. Preferably level 3 or Accredited Technician.

Daily duties –

  • To provide organisational and logistic back up to the company and to the technicians.
  • To plan; coordinate and audit company procedures and policies and control the everyday running of the business.
  • To support the running of the business and the Managers/ Management team.
  • To assign work and work areas. To organise tech’s day and routes if necessary 
  • To ensure technicians have all paperwork, stock and PPE and that folders get to customer sites in a timely manner.                
  • Look out for potential new sales 
  • To support Sales with larger surveys 
  • To deal with current suppliers as necessary and Make orders, where required with office / branch manager authorisation
  • Attend Management meetings where necessary and organize and run technician meetings.
  • To assist Technicians and come up with solutions to any problems they may be having 
  • To advise Enserve Branch Manager, if any problems arise
  • To sort out queries from customers about technician’s work
  • To answer telephone and email enquiries
  • To help sort sites with issues
  • To help catch up with any and all jobs and assist if getting behind 
  • To help co-ordinate all jobs to include sourcing materials and advising requirements and possibly overseeing the work
  • To sort out any problems arising with technicians; and to advertise/ interview new technicians and carry out meetings and disciplinary’s through to dismissal
  • To keep the stock room in order
  • To farm the calls from 1700 hrs and out of hours calls and pass on to the relevant technicians, if necessary. To advise Branch Manager if there is any problem with these calls or issues carrying out a job.
  • To authorize overtime or time off in lieu
  • Receive emails and pass on to relevant technicians and advise customers that we have received or completed jobs where necessary
  • Make appointments and take meetings with customers 
  • To help and/or train technician’s 
  • Reporting to Branch Manager on progress towards KPI’s – For Enserve

Job type – Full time (6 month probation period)

Days – Monday – Friday with assisting over some weekends

Hours – 8:00am – 17:30pm with  out of hours phone/email duties
