Manufacturing and Distributor Membership criteria
To become a full Manufacturing and Distributors Member, you'll need to be able to demonstrate you can meet our membership criteria.
- Companies should hold insurances relevant to their business' exposure to risk
- Companies must be financially stable (assessed via a credit check to ensure assets exceed liabilities)
- Companies to ensure that field and telesales staff who are engaged in offering advice to customers are trained and can demonstrate this through Continuing Professional Development and training records
- All products manufactured or sold by companies should comply with the relevant current, statutory and applicable standards
- Companies must have available (where appropriate) technical support
- Companies to be in possession of a policy statement/procedure in customer care/deliveries
- Companies (where appropriate) to be in possession of a waste management policy in compliance with national and local regulations
- Companies to provide evidence of any of the above, on request, within 30 days
- Companies to indicate whether they have an in-house quality procedure (eg ISO 9001), and to actively work towards the achievement
- Companies to indicate whether they have an environmental policy statement to include the companies recycling policy for manufacturing, packaging and products and energy saving policy (eg ISO 14001), and to actively work towards the achievement
- Adherence to CRRU Codes of Practice and the CRRU Guidance for Internet Sales of Rodenticides.
How much does Manufacturing and Distributor membership cost?
Subscriptions are based on your annual UK turnover in pest control, including products and services. This ensures subscriptions are fair for everyone in membership. Our membership year runs from 1 January - 31 December, and the cost is prorated based on the month you join.
