A sense of community at PestEx - the pest management show 2024

MARCH 2024

PestEx returned to the London ExCeL last week, attracting thousands of visitors and exhibitors from around the world.

Despite a challenging time for pest professionals, the atmosphere was optimistic and future-facing.

1,609 attendees (up 10% on 2022) came to see over 100 product and service suppliers exhibiting. The exhibition hall was packed with ambitious and engaging stands for the biggest PestEx yet.

Lauren Day, BPCA Events Manager, was thrilled with the efforts, saying:

“We had so many amazing exhibitors this year, all showcasing their fantastic products but also entertaining visitors with games, themes and prizes.

“We couldn’t have asked for a better showing from them, they gave 110% and helped make the exhibition a huge success.”

She continued:

“We also want to give special thanks to the event sponsors for their support; Bell Labs, Pelsis, Syngenta, Lodi UK and PestFix.”

The new BPCA stand was bustling with visitors, and many member benefit suppliers attended to explain how businesses can get the best value out of their BPCA membership.

Particularly busy was the TrustMark stand - a government scheme in attendance to help unveil a new partnership with BPCA, which will see Servicing members become “Government endorsed quality” pest management companies.

PestEx is also a great place to learn the latest updates, innovations and techniques in pest management.

As always, the PestEx Technical theatre attracted pest professionals keen expand their knowledge. With 13 talks over two days, the varied topics were a valuable source of information for those in attendance.

However, the Spotlight theatre was particularly popular this year, with many of the big debate sessions being standing room only.

Lauren concluded:

“We were delighted with what we believe was the most successful PestEx event ever, with the feedback being beyond anything we could have expected.

“The BPCA team had a wonderful time meeting everyone who attended and we look forward to seeing you all at PPC Live next year!”

PPC Live is BPCA’s next trade show, which will return to Harrogate on 19 March 2025.

A full review of PestEx will be available in the May issue of PPC magazine.

Thank you to everyone who attended, spoke at, exhibited at or volunteered at PestEx. The professional pest control community was out in force to support the show.
